HM A100

Share:

First, this is a Universal Software Radio Peripheral based on USRP. In addition, a development environment compatible with RFNoC/UHD drivers has been developed. Also, the way of using it is consistent and coherent with the standard USRP, and specific application software can be easily ported and run stably.

Product Details

Overview

HM A100 is a Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) compatible with RFNoC / UHD. After adapting the corresponding firmware of A100, the use and development methods are the same as the UHD firmware and application methods of traditional USRP. Users can fully unleash the performance of the RF front-end AD936X, and at the same time upgrade the data port interconnected with the PC to a 10Gbps SFP+ optical port. Achieve 70MHz~6GHz carrier output, which can realize point-to-point communication systems, cellular base stations, universal radio systems, etc.

Features

With a wide frequency range of 70 MHz to 6 GHz and a user-programmable industrial-grade Xilinx Kintex-7 XC7K325T FPGA, the USRP A100 platform is ideal for RF and wireless baseband research and  engineering development and applications.

The HM A100 RF front end uses an ADI AD9361, which optimizes the front-end power amplifier and balun. In particular, to improve the performance of the Agile Transceiver, an independent LDO power supply is used to provide bias and suppress microwave signal crosstalk. The USRP A100 also has GPIO, JTAG, and a GPSDO interface for multi-machine long-distance signal clock synchronization, and a connector for 10MHz clock reference or PPS time reference input signal synchronization. The USRP Hardware Driver (UHD) software API supports all USRP products, enabling users to efficiently develop applications and facilitate users to upgrade from traditional USRP multi-series.
